Again this year we are continuing with the Noisy offering. This time the monies will be shared across three different organizations.
1.) Traill County Social Services (To help families with special needs that may not be met within the regular services.) 2.) The new Lutheran church of South Sudan in Fargo. This mission plant church is run by all volunteers and provides worship and education for those from South Sudan. I had the pleasure of meeting the two leaders and hearing about how the Lutheran church made such a difference in their life in South Sudan that it is their desire to continue to live as Lutherans here in their new home of Fargo. As you can imagine starting a church takes lots of energy and of course funding. What a gift to share in this ministry.
3.) Since the connection runs deep from Fargo to South Sudan we will also be supporting the newly build Lutheran Center in Juba, South Sudan. You can follow the story and learn more at:

Some of the sweetest and most funny moments come out of the noisy offering collection time when we send off our kiddos with the silver buckets. Keep sharing your stories with me and others, they are the best! I also prayerfully challenge us all to double our efforts from last year, as we know the need is great. Might we find a place or jar to collect change, and share the stories of need and hope with others. Last year all those pennies added up to around $1500. How might we blow this number away this year? We are most certainly blessed to be a blessing to others.
Total collected as of January 31st, 2018 is $774.15
LENT WEEKLY NOISY OFFERING: During the Wednesday Lenten service we take a special noisy offering.
